Yes. If you do not ship with full tracking or delivery confirmation to the buyer's address shown during payment, you are not eligible for seller protection. Please be sure to add tracking information both within the Grailed messages as well as on PayPal.
To add tracking information on PayPal, please follow the steps below:
- Log into your PayPal account and locate the sale in your Recent Activity
- Click on the payment from the buyer to view the Transaction Details Page
- Under the buyer's address, click the "Add Tracking Info" link to enter the tracking number for your shipment
- Once submitted, the tracking information will be linked to this sale, ensuring any held funds are released within 3 days of delivery confirmation.
Please note that your preferred shipping method must include full tracking and delivery confirmation (i.e. USPS Priority/Express International) or equivalent for international shipments to be eligible for seller protection.
All transactions are eligible for full protection as long as the proper procedures are followed. We strongly recommend documenting the process, such as keeping all records of the transaction such as photos, receipts, and shipping process to be protected. As mentioned in our About page you must always make sure to ship with full tracking to the provided address on the PayPal transaction in order to be eligible for seller protection.
For more information, please review PayPal's Seller Protection Guidelines.
